Located in Shenyang city, the China Medical University (CMU) was established in 1931 making it 90 years old. Shenyang, being very close to Beijing, is economically, culturally, & politically well suited for international students promising a great student experience. About Campus life
CMU has a very large campus with amenities catering to its international needs. You will find 8 different canteens serving Indian, Muslim (Halaal), & Chinese cuisines. CMU has 2 campuses – the Main & the New. The Hostels themselves are special what with world class dorm facilities with pantry in every floor to cook your own food. No wonder because the hostels house more than 2.5k international students at any given time. The campus lacks in nothing whether you need 2 wheelers like electric scooters, bicycles, Grocery stores, Mobile/laptop stores, Banks/ATMs, etc. The Indian restaurant in the campus serves both veg & non-veg food.
Hostel and facilities
At China Medical University, solo as well as sharing mode of accommodation is available in on-campus accommodation. The rooms are furnished with essentials like wardrobes, cabinets and study tables above which you have your bunk bed. There are also bathroom and washroom services attached in every room. The rooms are equipped with facilities of landline, 24X7 internet access and air conditioning.
Other facilities include a public kitchen and laundry room located on each floor of the hostel building. If the students are looking forward to off-campus accommodation, the most preferred of all destinations is the IBIS hotel situated right in front of the University.
